Quantum of Solace

Tiffany had to work today. I took the opportunity to catch the latest Bond film. I don't really have to convince you. You either like these movies (you're a guy) or you don't. Anyway, I thought it was another great effort from Daniel Craig. He is definitely the best Bond since Connery. I don't think it was quite as good as Casino Royale, but I feel like I got my six dollars worth. There isn't too much I have to write about this week. Not much happened at all. I did realize that there were a couple of things I forgot to mention last time. In addition to Election Day and the Metallica show, Tuesday the 4th was also our 8th wedding anniversary. Most of you already knew that, and this is not the first time we have spent such a romantic occasion at a rock concert. On a much sadder note, Michael Crichton died that day. If you haven't read anything by him, you are missing out. As is almost always the case, the movies do not do the books justice. I'm talking to you Jurassic Park. Seriously, READ it. I am sorry for the lack of pictures this week. I guess maybe I need to hire a photographer to follow me around--other than the paparazzi I mean. I'm in a weird mood. I actually do have one or two pictures to put up, but they are presently not on this computer. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that you probably won't see those until after Thanksgiving. By that time I will probably have others to post anyway. Coming up this week is Metallica in Houston! Yes this is our fourth show this year. No we are not tired of them yet. As much fun as the Denver show was, I am really looking forward to this one. By the way, for anyone keeping score this is my 14th Metallica show and Tiffany's 13th. I will do my best to think of something interesting to say the next time I post. One final note: Congratulations to the members of my family who ran the marathon today in San Antonio. The only way I am running that far is if someone is chasing me. Even then I would probably give up. Either way, I admire all of you for doing it. I can't wait to hear all about it.

  1. Hey Brian, You could post some new pictures of your house, you know. You guys have fun in Houston, and have a good turkey day next week. We'll be spending it in Austin.
Say hi to Tiffany for us.
