"and we all enjoyed the weekend for a change"

Saturday night we went to San Antonio for the Elton John/Billy Joel--Face to Face tour. Before the show, we went downtown for some Mexican food and margaritas. Tiffany drank a virgin margarita, which I'm sure was just as good as the real ones. After dinner we headed to the AT&T Center for the show. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that it might be the best show I have ever seen. Don't confuse that with the most fun I ever had at a concert. That is something totally different, but the quality and showmanship of these two performers is outstanding. The show lasted close to four hours, and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. We came home Sunday and had a couple of hours to rest before heading out for the Mudvayne show here in Abilene. It was a totally different kind of show than the previous night, but a good time nonetheless. We don't get that many bands here, so we try to see them when we can.
